Well what a fantastic night at the Village Hall carols concert. Monday 5th saw Coxhoe Primary School and Coxhoe Beavers, Cubs and Scouts treat a packed Village Hall to a fantastic night of carols, jokes and Christmas songs which thrilled everyone present.

MC’d by Headmaster Mr. Jones the Concert kicked off with an audience song of Silent Night. Class 6 provided a musical rendition of Jingle bells on recorder and handbells. Class 7 then sang Santa Claus is coming to town. An artistic approach to the 12 days of Christmas then followed from Class 12. Coxhoe Beavers then provided us with seasonal thoughts before another audience carol of Hark the Herald Angels sing.

We then were entertained with jokes ,and great audience participation, from the Coxhoe Cubs and Scouts and a fantastic presentation of I wish it could be Christmas every day! Class 9 followed that with a brilliant rendition of Le Joyeux Nowell, followed by Do they Know its Christmas from Class 10.

Our kitchen volunteers provided food and drinks and Santa Claus was available to hear from the children.

Many thanks go to all those that took part and came along. It was a truly stunning night.
